Had the Tonkatsu Ramen. First ramen that I've had with spinach. The soup and noodles were awesome. The Pork was slices of pork very thin. Tasty combo, also had egg and corn. Hakujin Ramen
I love Obento! The food is great, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is pleasent
The place is a bit humid, and pretty small. Lucky for you, it's never too crowded, so you don't have to worry about being cramped. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms there, so... yeah. Their boba/bubble tea is delicious! There are so many options such as more milk, less milk, more sugar, less sugar, strawberry boba, and even flavored slush! Not to mention, their amazing ramen. Ramen is a teensy bit pricey, but definitely worth it! If you're planning on shopping downtown, definitely stop to check this place out!!
You know that place that is a whole in the wall thar you would choose over a fancy restaurant any given day? That's Obento. Great food on a small shop.
No-frills place. The service was efficient, and the ramen good.
Do not be fooled by the on-street construction: Obento is still open, clean, and delicious. Every time I am in the area, I will stop here. Food is inexpensive without being "cheap", staff is always friendly, and portions are perfect. Absolutely try the pork buns! One of my favorite places off 16th street -- hands down.
Absolutely love the ramen here. Staff is friendly and the food is delicious and quick, whether you're staying in or taking out.
Right on the 16th Street Mall strip. Good for a quick bite, but nothing to write home about. The boba teas were on par with other places and was a little less sweet than most places which I liked. The tonkatsu ramen broth was alright, and I liked that they added fresh spinach, bean sprouts and a bit of corn for sweetness. Price was a little expensive for the amount but it's in a really convenient place though and it was served speedily
Yes! I got a free Miso Ramen bowl using my frequent flyer punch card. I love this spot! Great veggie options. Always fresh. Delicious boba tea options. Everytime I'm in Denver I eat here at least 2x. Highly recommended.
I was actually surprised at how good the Tonkotsu was. I did switch out the meat to chicken though. The egg in the food was overcooked and rubbery unfortunately. But hey it is under $9!
Definitely the best japanese restaurant in town! I’ve tried the sushi and boba. The sushi was so fresh you must try the SUSHI DONUT! Bubble tea was perfect it wasn’t too sweet at all.
Fun place for lunch. We got the teriaki bento box. Everything was good except for the chicken. The quality was about the same as a frozen dinner from Lean Cuisine and the broccoli was cold. Despite that, we would go back to try something else. The cashier was friendly and service was fast for the rush of lunch time.
Sushi and iced milk tea were room temp, but flavors were good
We love this place! The Spam Musubi is awesome!
Great service quick and fast. Good quality salmon.
Convenient lunch spot with a variety of choices. Highly recommend the bento boxes and bubble tea!
This was fresh and fast! Perfect spot for lunch while visiting from out of town.
Awesome little spot, pretty good prices for being on 16th St.Everything I've had off their menu has been satisfactory, but doesn't quite break that "amazing" barrier. No Restroom for customers and the tiniest styrofoam cups for water, some added amenities would make quite the difference in terms of customer experience.
Decent, but not even close to authentic Japanese ramen.I ordered the shoyu ramen. The predominant flavor of the broth was pepper, and it disappointingly contained slices of white meat pork instead of chashu, the tender pork belly I hoped for. I also found a small piece of Romaine lettuce in the broth, which was like finding sardines in a peanut butter and jelly.
Weirdly salty noodles but it was alright. Bubble tea was excellent.
This plsce used to be fantastic, I'd eat out here during anime cons and the food was delicuos, i dont know if it was a change in chef however, but the food doesnt have the same punch anymore the steak can get a little rubbery and the flavors are a little flat. I'd say if your really hungry for food and dont want to walk far from the con for something better or pricier this will do. But i'd reccomend going somewhere else
This place was surprisingly excellent. Went to a quick lunch with my girlfriend and was just looking for a quick bite. Turned out being fantastic. I like the poke bowl. I will definitely be coming back.
Ordered online through door dash. The sushi was delicious but very small size for the steep price. The shoyu ramen was horrible, flavorless, the pork was cooked to taste like crispy bacon. Very disappointed. $100 meal should have been $30.
Awesome ramen. Huge portions. My go to lunch place for when I need a bowl of soup.
Had the Poke bowl. For under $13, this had me more than full for lunch, and very conveniently located. Will be back for sure!
This restaurant is horrible. The food is mediocre at best, and the staff is rude, SUPER slow, and they don't care at all about their customers. I recommend Menya, a better spot only 1 block away with better food and a far superior staff.
Pretty tasty boba and food! I’d come again! I like their space.
The bento teriyaki was amazing
Sushi isn’t worth getting. I’ve gotten better sushi at the grocery store for way less money.
The food was top of the line. Service was more than adequate. Definitely will return the next time I'm in Denver.
This place was AWESOME, however the service was lacking a bit and it took much longer to make our Sushi. HOWEVER, the food was TASTY!!!
This place was fantastic & I am going back soon! I ordered 2 bento boxes, a sushi roll & tea drink for dinner - we loved it & were blown away by the quality!
Delicious sushi roll (Champa) and incredibly light and satisfying spring rolls. I'm ecstatic that I landed upon this restaurant by accident. Fantastic.
Finally! A place that serves real ramen eggs! You only get half an egg in your ramen, but its still delicious and much better than those gross soggy half boiled eggs other places serve.
Unagi Don - only person there at the time and it took nearly 10 minutes to prepare my food. That’s fine - but the rice was cold and the unagi barely warm. Maybe I came on an off day but I just didn’t feel like these guys were passionate about what they do.
Best tonkotsu ramen ever!! Reasonably priced. The broth is amazing and so flavorful! Sushi is also good! Will definitely visit here again.
I live up the street and order here regularly. As a vegetarian, I love it! The spicy tofu bento box is fantastic, and the price is affordable for me. They are also very timely, which is even better. I'm gonna miss it when I move!
Great food.
Great food! We visited this location on vacation recently and were pleasantly surprised. The store front and seating is a little rough, almost has a fast food feeling but the food was fresh and tasty. The service was pretty average. The only thing we weren't crazy about was using the metal silverware, watching the cashier hand-dry the forks while waiting for our food wasn't appetizing. On the flipside, they let you take your dishes outside to eat at the community dinning space.
Excellent food and they gave my 2 yo a free drink!
Went here after the Veteran's day parade. Food was blah. Bento box tasted like a frozen dinner. Ramen was not the worst but nothing special. No kids menu or smaller portions available. No bathroom to wash hands. Would not go back.
Great ramen bowls, best vegan option I found on 16th.St. Mall. Variety of Boba drinks too. Delicious
Delicious! The Pork buns were amazing and so flavorful. A quick bite, drop in kind of place. I noticed the bulk of business was to go orders. I got black tea to go, piping hot, not pictured
I have been going to this place for a long time. I work at downtown Denver and this is my go to place when I am starving and in the mood for something delicious. Definitely recommend
Average rice bowls but the ramen and boba tea is good.
Incredibly filling and great quality! I loved the variety of their chicken bento box.
Watered down, flavorless, bobba overhard.
I highly recommend the bubble tea!!! Poke bowl is also perfect for a fulfilling lunch. The bubble tea here is the best in town.
Quick service. Spicy Ramen was very good!
One of my favorite places to go to when I'm downtown. Food is delicious but the ramen broth was a little too salty for my liking but nonetheless still tasty
